Details

The ZA003, the third Boeing 787 “Dreamliner” ever built started its first journey on March 14, 2010. It was used only in the testing / certification process and was not delivered to an airline for service. Follow this link for its testing operation.

As part of its flying experience, the ZA003 travelled to 23 countries and met with over 68,000 visitors around the globe.

The Museum of Flight is located north of the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) and easily accessible by car and public transportation .

It is the first museum to host a 747 test prototype, a collection of other commercial, war and service aircrafts and an exhibit of the Spaceflight Academy.

Hours of Operation / Prices

The museum is open 7 days a week from 10 am to 5 pm Pacific Standard Time (PST).  It is closed onThanksgiving Day & Christmas Day.

Admission Prices in US$

  • Adults $19
  • Seniors (65+) $16
  • Youths (5-17) $11
  • Children (4 and under) Free
  • Active Military $16

Free – First Thursdays of the Month (between 5 pm to 9 pm PST)
