We previously discussed the longest non-stop flight from Qantas Airways (IATA Airline Code – QR) which is flew on an Airbus A380 (refer to post). As part of our Friday Aviation Trivia question, can you guess which city pairs and airlines operate the three shortlist flights on the A380? We will review the answer by Monday. Good luck.
In the meantime, check out Qantas’ video on its longest flight.
Update – December 1, 2014
Here are the answers to the Friday Aviation Trivia question. We included a video for each other airline’s A380 cabin featured:
Honorable mention goes to the city pair of Beijing (PEK) to Guangzhou (CAN) on China Southern Airlines (CZ). This flight is ~1174nm in distance and takes about 3 hours to 3 hours 15 minutes to operate.
In third place is the city pair of Bangkok (BKK) and Hong Kong (HKG) on Thai Airways (TG) and Emirates (EK). This flight is ~1,077 nm and takes about 2 hours 45 minutes to 3 hours to operate.
Both second and first place city pairs are operated by Emirates (EK). In second place is Dubai (DXB) to Jeddah (JED) which is about ~1,054nm and takes less than 3 hours to operate.
In first place is Dubai (DXB) to Kuwait (KWI) which measures only ~555nm in distance. The flight takes less than 2 hours to operate.
